Sunnyshore City and the routes around it were one of the few places that a person who was fighting against the hold Immortalis had against the world could actually catch and train against wild Pokemon. Which was why Michael found himself out exploring the route that rested in front of the entrance to Sunnyshore City. If Michael had read the sign right on his way out it was Route 222, not like it had any meaning anymore it was simply a place to catch Pokemon.
He had entered the route in the early morning, and he had done his best not to wake up Cherise from her slumber as he creeped out of the building that rebels were allowed to stay in. If she had indeed woken up Michael had left before he could get a chance of notice, and he was sure she wouldn't worry too much about him, after all he was a stronger man. Thoughts of his girlfriend aside Michael made his way away from the entrance and towards the sandy stretch of beach that made up part of the route. While he was in Kanto he had taken to simply using fire type Pokemon, but he realized as he had grown up that just one type of Pokemon no matter how strong couldn't do everything. So he was here on the beach hoping that maybe he'd come across one of the many water type Pokemon that could possible call the beach home. His eyes scanned the sandy area carefully trying to catch any glimpse of Pokemon that he might want to do battle with.
He found himself unable to actually find any Pokemon wondering around by themselves on the beach. A sigh escaping his lips as his hands entered into his pants pockets, he was without his hoodie this morning. Instead he was sporting a simple black tank-top which did the job of showing off the muscles on his arms rather well. "Maybe I got here a little too early." Michael spoke to himself as he went about moving ahead a little bit more, it had only be about five minutes no need to give up hope on the beach and move towards the grass just yet...
