- Famous Pianist. There is very few that don't know her music, even if they don't know her name. Her music is know for it's bright, curious quality that can make a person smile. She's been at the creative job for a few months, and has built a good income and business history behind herself. As Dragon Master, she has often had to go by different names for her creations. As of late, since arriving and becoming stuck in the rebellion, her output has dropped greatly, but this has more to do with personal reasons than an actual loss of interest in the art.
- On the side, she runs a small yet popular Flower shoppe in Twinleaf Town. She's well known for the exotic flowers she she picks and gardens in her free time, even though she's quite busy, and being blind doesn't help. This shop is rather shabby and darkly lit, but Iris has put much time into it, and wants to see it grow even far than what she has managed to take it, with her passion for flowers and plants, and the different designs you can sculpt into the bouquets. She's in it for the elegance, not the money.

Appearance
Do we see the curious, plucky, and stubborn girl she once was as a aspiring Poke'mon trainer now? No. We see an elegant woman, erect posture, and unfocused eyes. We remember her with her sight and wild persona intact- not anymore. Her eyes are still the bright auburn coloration. Although, the copper color has been greatly reduced to the point where they are slightly faded. Looking at her, you'll still she the dreams that were crushed, but she still has the dim, dreamy look inside the brown orbs. That's right, folks, Iris, our lovely Dragon-type trainer has gone completely blind, and the fact people sometimes point the fact out really don't help her mood.
Dark skin, assumed to be well taken care of. The fact is she comes from a unseen Jamaican decent. It is degraded, so she doesn't have the accent to instantly point herself out, but she has the spunk, it was driven to the point where its not excactly seen on the surface, but had been put down like a wild animal in its prime, to never resurface. Her face is round and gives of a very soft look. In fact, all of her face is rather soft-looking. Her eyes are in an ever so slight drooping shape, often giving his expressions a lax tone, though the tops of them still look alert and energetic. Her lips are smooth and slightly flat, not jutting out like a fish or being a completely thin line. Their reddish color is unnoticed by her darken skin. Her nose is a bit mousy-looking, dipping at the bridge but being more prominent at the tip. Her cheeks are full and she even has slight dimples. The only unsettling thing about Iris's face are really just the eyes, to this day she wonders why people are bothered by them. Her blindness is a blessing as well as a curse. She cannot see the dangers and the carnage the Immortalis has set about her, yet she cannot see the small beauties the world desires her to see. She misses her sight as much as she missed her life as it once was.
Speaking of which, Iris's hair is actually a bit wild. Wavy, purple-black hair poofs out and falls to about knee-length for the young woman. Its texture is light, but a bit coarse, sometimes feeling more like fur than like actual hair. It is a terrible mess, though it wasn't always like that. Blindness kind of affects one's ability to brush their hair properly. There are also two long strands on the back, one on the left and one on the right. They're only slightly longer than the rest of the mane but they are growing fast. She also has a copulous amount of bangs that cover her entire forehead, and some stretch down towards the eyes and nose.
Her clothing is rather casual, and it looks as if she's worn the same outfit for years. She wears a white casual shirt that's covered by a peachy colored hoodie. The hoodie is thin and worn out for frequent use, and the sleeves go past her wrists and halfway over her hands. Her pants are ruffled as the edges and are as well the same peach-tan color, though at the knees and the edges they are starting to lose their color and become more white. However, they are not ripped. Another thing you'll see with Iris is that she doesn't wear shoes. She cannot sense the Earth's vibrations with shoes on, and besides, why have shoes on when you cannot even tie them?
Personality
Iris is the very embodiment of truth, of course she'll be completely honest. To her genuine feelings are much less harmful than deceit. Why hold negative feelings against someone for years and end up hurting them all that much more when you finally tell them, unless you actually like doing that sort of thing. Secrets are to her what wolfsbane is to a werewolf. When someone's asking for her opinion she will say it, giving the fullest answer possible. Of course, many times she comes off as blunt and uncaring, especially if he, quite frankly, thinks you're being "a silly idiot".
Perhaps it's more of her unconsciously trying to be a complete opposite of what she was when she was younger, but she is a person very ground in his ways. She views most examples of advancement as silly fantasies that will never last (though there are a few exceptions), and would much rather let society advance slowly and at its own, natural pace, the Immortalis quickening the pace annoys her. Most new ideas are suspicious to her, and prone to her disapproval.
At the same time, she has become a bit of a pessimist over the last few years. She's not depressed and grumpy, but she just sees the world in more realistic terms. Of course, realistic for her means that the truth is... people will be stupid. They'll be idealistic and chase after mirages, and always see the grass as greener. Truth will be suppressed and there's nothing that can be done to change it. So she waits. She waits for when things might get better in her life, but in all honesty she really does not believe that will happen for a long while.
Not the typical notion of tolerating people of other religions and various sorts of minorities, another change from her stubborn, go-getting ways. She's just able to stand people. It's her job as past-champion to sort of deal with borderline nutjobs who act really irrational and can get on anyone's nerves. The truth is that people will have worldviews that are different than her, or ones that make no sense and only hinder them. This being a fact, she cannot get annoyed by it. Exasperated, yes. But actually angry at someone for having a "stupid opinion"? No, or at least not if their opinion is some delusional ideal.
Iris, despite being a Dragon-type trainer, is a very calm and sort of "go-with-the-flow" person. Perhaps it's her more resigned nature she's gained over the years, but she just lets life take her wherever she needs to go. She doesn't get too excited over things, preferring instead a reserved reply rather than jumping up and down and screaming like a toddler, and she doesn't get too angry either. Her fuse is an extremely long one that goes out very quickly. She just likes to have fun and go wherever life takes him. In addition with being quite the relaxed person, Iris is also quite happy. One almost never sees her without at least a little upward tilt in her smiles. The best part is that it's completely genuine for him. She might be blind and he might think that Immortalis is going to oppress us no matter what, but she won't let those things get her down. She knows that amid the darkness there's always light. She thinks it's a bit strange. So many people have perfect vision, but they can't even see that fact for themselves.
History
Iris. Born to a young woman named Amber Ukinae and Wilbur Dragomire. The two were sweethearts since they both came to the Village of Dragons as a pitstop in their adventure as Poke'mon trainers. They both came from the same town and were partners in their travels. As time went by, slowly, their love grew, and Wilbur, flowers in hand and ring hidden, proposed to the young woman on a moonlit picnic. Tears were shed as she said yes, and the two soon, unable to walk away from the Village, with help from others that lived there, built a lovely home on a grassy hill. After their wedding day, Amber told Wilbur she was pregnant. As joy insued upon the couple, their birth was blessed as well by the Village Elder, whom saw greatness in this unborn child, which was said to be a girl. As days turned to months, many blessings went to the happy couple on the hill, and soon, after long awaiting, with a shrill cry, Iris Dragomire was born healthy, as many heaped gifts to the couple, including baby clothes, money, and many other things, everything was looking up for this couple, and the child.
As Iris grew, she was a plucky, stubborn-willed young girl, a beautiful toddler that was adored and loved by her parents and many others. She climbed her first tree here, and met many Poke'mon. One day she met a wild Drilbur that had injured a Patrat and stolen its food. Angered, she sought justice for the Drilbur's deed and challenged it. After countless defeats, she finally managed to out maneuver the Mole Pokémon and get it caught in some vines dangling just over a cliff. She was seen as a smart and willed girl. She was even praised by the Village Elder herself.
At the age of twelve, her mischef was cut short as she was sent to Opelucid City to train and learn in their academy. It was tough going for the girl, she once barely passed in her grades. She was given a Fraxure to battle with, and sadly, the two did not see eye-to-eye. With that, she quickly dropped out and fled back home. Dissappointed in herself, she closed herself up and stopped training with Poke'mon until age thirteen where the Village Elder gave her a newly hatched Axew to train into a fully-fledged Haxorus. She quickly found herself loving the adorable Dragon-type, who was easily frightened and quite hard to train. Neverless Iris kept trying her hardest, the two grew a bond that no one could ever break while going as well. At age fifteen, she left to begin her jorney, which was late in the beginning as well. Her dream was to become a Dragon Master like the Village Elder and be the best trainer she could be.
On the way, she met two others, whom became her travelling parnets for a few years. She became friends with them both in no time flat, but she soon disconnected from them, as she dreams drew her farther and farther off.
At age seventeen, they travelled, trouble began to brew as many Team's, including Team Rocket began to gather Poke'mon and steal them. Enraged as she was, she couldn't do much to stop them despite her efforts. Once, her Axew was almost taken away as well, and in a tight spot, they were both cornered by the grunts that attacked them. In a flurry, her Axew learned a new moveset, Dragon Rage as well as evolving into a Fraxure. In the heat of the battle between them both, her confused Pocket Monster went on a rampage and defended her, as well as injurying his own master as well. In the confusion, her eyes were distorted beyond compare by one of the Team's grunts who had stolen a Pikachu who used a strong Electric-type move known as Flash, there was no time to look away from her, and she was stricken by the Moveset and fainted. Her vision went completely black as night, and she had fainted, yes, but there was no last time to see anything. Her last image before her eyes was her Axew evolving before her vision was taken.
Upon awakening, she was in a bed. She saw nothing. Panicking, the girl sat up, only to be pushed down by gentle hands. Those hands claimed to be the Village Elder. Her voice was stressed, but tender. She was told that she was now blind, and her Fraxure was safe and was being treated for his wounds as they spoke. But as well, she was told that some group, the Immortalis was threatening the Unova region, and all others were in a state of panic as well. Iris asked for her parents as she was only greeted with silence. In the chaos, she was told her mother was killed and her father was captured. Now crying, Iris knew she had nothing, what was she to do?
Slowly, she was healed of all outer wounds, but her inner wounds were still just as fresh as they could be today. She learned how to see with only her feet and hands, and she as well learned healing techniques from the Elder as well, whom became her guardian in these tough times. She soon, slowly but surely, began training once again and she did it elegantly. The Village Elder, the elderly woman was getting no younger, and on her death bed, appointed Iris as Village Elder and was named a Dragon Master. This all happened at age eighteen. She was known as the youngest Village Elder ever known in the Unova region.
After taking control of the Village, they were soon attacked by the Immortalis forces. She batteled against them gallantly, but she was no match, especially when she attempted to have peace with them. Her village, everything she worked for- everything was destroyed without her sight to see it to. While battling, her Fraxure, ever-so close to evolving once more, grabbed her hand and fled from the dying screams and carnage of her Village of the Dragons. Everything she had worked for was dead and gone, and she couldn't deal with it. She screamed and pleaded as she was dragged away from her home.
Surprisingly, her sanity is still intact. She travelled with her now evolved Haxorus to the newly built Twinleaf town, and she found herself surronded by people who had been abandoned and taken away from their homes. She attempted to brighten their lives with elegant music, taking lessons from a teacher, and in a short time, she played music at all times, blessing the town with it, the piano was a way she forgot about her past, and the beauty would echo through the town at all hours. Months later, she as well opened a flower shoppe, planting and gardening began a hobby for the woman as well.
After a few months, she heard rebellion was whispering to each and every person, known as the Hydra and the Pheonix. She quickly joined the Pheonix, to put an end to the evil and to maybe find her estranged father as well. As she joined, she showed her medical experience, and she was suddenly pushed to be a Medical Doctor.
