Appearance
Gold stands at decent height  of five feet and nine inches his totally weight is around one hundred and seventy four pounds.  The overall build of his body isn't that of someone who is always working out but is also not like that of someone who does nothing. Gold's body has a little bit of muscle on him due to him being a really active person, he likes to move and thus his body reflects this. Gold's eyes are of course like his name suggests gold, and he tends to keep his a bit long so that when he's not wearing his hat it actually comes down to just in front of his eyes. 


Speaking of clothing, one is often to find Gold wearing a his signature  red  jacket overtop his rather plain white t-shirt. Along with his jacket Gold also often is wearing his baggy shorts, or even sometimes his baggy black jeans. He doesn't really bother to change his style of dress from day to day, but on a rare chance you might find Gold wearing something even different than that. 

Personality
Gold still hasn't changed very much over the years and despite all he has clearly been through. While of course he has at least mature a little bit and is able to fight his urge to make jokes at bad times, he's still a goofball. Gold at the age of twenty three still rides around on his skateboard when he can, and still likes to take to the tables to gamble. Though like stated he has clearly matured a little bit, he no longer makes a habit out of cheating those out of money and he doesn't lie quite as often. One thing about Gold that will probably never change is love for women(and sometimes men).

Gold is a flirt and he enjoys sleeping with females and when's not out trying to saving the world you can beat he's trying to talk his way into a females underwear. Is Gold a whore? Maybe. Does he care? No. Because he's able to juggle things pretty well, he knows when its time to stop being a player and to focus on getting stuff done. Though that isn't to say he won't make a few jokes about things while he's doing it.

Friendship is important to Gold and he has proven time and time again that he'll do anything for a friend. He's even put his life on the line many times for those he calls a friend, he refuses to give up on them even if it seems like they've clearly gone off the deep end. Carefree and relaxed is how Gold likes to live, even if the world around him doesn't allow for it. While Gold is clearly able to lead to a group such as Hydra or Phoenix with his experience of having saved the world one time before this he figures it times to let someone else gain the spotlight, and its for the that reason he's become a follower.

Gold's kindness is another thing that most people note about him, even in a world as dark as this one Gold is always trying to help others. If your hungry and he's got food he'll give it to you even he really wanted to eat it himself, giving the shirt off his back for others is something Gold doesn't mind doing.

History
Gold from a very young age had always been into Pokemon, and very use to reading into what they wanted. Having grown up in a house full of Pokemon in New Bark Town, where you were known as 'The Pokemon Boy' can do that to a person. But the really fun parts of Gold's life didn't happen until he was around the age of twelve.

On his way to Prof. Elm's lab one day Gold runs into Silver a person who from that moment one would because not only a somewhat from friend but also a rival to Gold. You see Gold had showed up at Prof. Elm's lab as Silver was stealing a Totodile. It also just so happen that early that day a bag full of Gold's family Pokemon had also been stolen and seeing Silver steal Gold thought that Silver was the one who stole from him.

So he borrowed a Cyndaquil which he nicknames Exbo, to do battle with Silver. However their battle was interrupted as Team Rocket[(who had been recently taken down by Red, and was just reforming) attacked him and knocked him out. When he woke up Prof. Elm told him what had happened and also told him the police wanted him to file a report on what had happened. So he quickly made up false information about Silver wanting to take him out on his own. So with the Cyndaquil Elm had said he could keep Gold headed out to find Silver, and maybe beat a few gyms along the way.

Gold soon after that ran into Prof. Oak who had just had a Pokedex stolen from him by Silver. Wanting to make things even Gold himself tried to talk Oak into letting him having a Pokedex though at first the Professor told him no. Though through a course of action causing Oak to see how much Gold loved Pokemon Oak gave him one.Gold soon reaches Violet City where he learns that Silver was at Sprout Tower for some training. Without thinking at all Silver rushes off to go take on Silver, taking out all the Sages standing in his way to Silver.

After a long hard battler between him and Silver Gold had manged to beat Silver and was able to bring the stolen Pokemon back to Prof. Elm but was met with a not so friendly result as he reached down to try and grab Totodile the water Pokemon bit him on the hand. Showing Gold that it had wanted to say with Silver which made him rather confused, though the confusion was soon replaced by panic as a giant metal ball came rushing down towards them.

With team work from their two Pokemon Silver and Gold mange to avoid being flattened to death. After this however Gold could only watch as Silver escape from him again. It was after watching Silver get away that Gold went and challenged the first gym of the Johto region.

Next stop on Gold's journey was Azelea Town, however on the trip there he ran into a few bumps into the road. Like Team Rocket causing trouble in the Ruins of Alpha , which Gold made quick work of. He then ran into on of Oak's aides who gave him an egg to take care of.

With those road bumps out of the way Gold made his way to Azelea Town, where he met Kurt the Pokeball maker. Who he make fun of, and after doing so Kurt offers Gold a challenge of catching a Pokemon with one of his Pokeballs. Kurt gives Gold a Friend Ball, and sets Gold on his way. However not before Gold witnessed Kurt's granddaughter asking him to make her a Friend Ball which he said no too. So Gold headed out towards a mountain near the town, where Teddiursa were said to live.

It was their at the top of the mountain that Gold ran into Silver who was trying to catch a Ursaring with a Heavy Ball. Gold found himself being bothered by this, as Kurt had told him that only the worthy could handle his balls, this meant Silver was more worthy than he was. Putting that behind him Gold tracked on and found the Teddiursa he was looking for. However as he was trying to catch it he kept getting in Silver's way who was trying to catch his Pokemon.

It was because of this act that Silver lost his when Gold's Aipom nicknamed Aibo bumps into Silver. Gold then learns from his rival an important lesson on how to catch Pokemon. As a thank you, Gold uses his billiard cue to shoot his Friend Ball into Silver's Heavy Ball sending both balls flying into the two Pokemon they were meant for. Silver once again vanishes on Gold, and Gold himself heads back into town to give the caught Pokemon to the Kurt's granddaughter.

It is at this point that Gold figures it best to take a trip into Ilex Forest. Thought after a few twist and turns Gold finds himself hopelessly lost.He then finds the unconscious Charcoal Kiln and his Farfetch'd and decides to carry them, but he realizes that a Gastly has possessed them from how unusually heavy their bodies were. After a bit of battling with Gastly a Houndour, a Delibird, and an Ariados appear to battle alongside the Gastly and then a Masked Man appears and reveals them to be his Pokémon and warns Gold to leave this forest. He quickly has his Ariados tie Gold up and simply disappears.

Gold then heads out to Goldenrod City where he runs into even more trouble there, from a rouge Smeargle painting on his face, to having a argument with city Gym Leader. After an event where he catches himself a Sudowoodo, Gold challenges the gym and beats it. Earning himself his third gym badges.

Next stop on Gold's quests was Ecruteak City by this time Gold's egg had hatched and had himself a new Pokemon on his team...a Togepi. While in Ecruteak City Gold runs into Silver yet again, and after taking down some Team Rocket grunts together Gold asked Silver for a battle. Silver accepted the battle and for the most part the battle remained even. That was until Silver tossed a Tyranitar his way, and made quick work of Gold's whole team. After the battle both Gold and Silver head off for the Lake of Rage.

Once at the Lake of Rage Gold helps Silver catch the Red Gyarados that was founded at the lake by keeping the other Gyarados's away. After this however...both Silver and Gold run into the Masked Man. Gold and Silver then both work together to take down the Masked Man.

After this Gold takes on the Gym located near the Lake, and makes way for the other gyms in the region. But before he could take on the Pokemon League he got a call from Elm staying something odd was happening Ilex Forest. Gold heads off that way and when he gets their he finds the Masked Man causing trouble.

Gold breaks the guys mask and finds out who he real was and after a long battle where he was going to win, Gold ends up traveling through time with Silver and Crystal to end the Mask Man's plan once and for all.

After doing so he heads back to his own time, beat the Pokemon League and then heads off to Mount. Silver to train with Red for a few years. It was during Gold's time high on top of Mount. Silver that Team Rocket began its massive take over of the Kanto Region, and both Gold and Red were blissfully unaware of the danger. That was until they both got a call from Elm informing them of the situation, and that his best friend Silver had joined with Team Rocket. Gold asked Red if it would be alright if he went to visit the Kanto region alone to deal with the threat and help get Silver back. It took some talking but Gold finally got Red to agree to let him go into the danger alone.

It wasn't long after he got into Kanto that Gold himself joined up with Team Rocket, thought not for the same reason as Silver. Gold's plan was to slowly take Team Rocket out from the inside, and get close to Silver along the way. It also wasn't long after arriving in Kanto that Gold actually met Silver again, and the two had a battle in which Gold showed him just how far behind he truly was. While the one battle hadn't change Silver, Gold knew that it was going to start him thinking.

Soon after Gold arrived Crystal followed along with him, and the two of them together managed to actually sway him back over to where he belonged. However it happened a little to late as Team Rocket had drove Kanto into the ground, along with Johto. Gold didn't like it but they had to flee to Hoenn and even Hoenn didn't last long as the might water legend ended flooding the region, taking many lives with it. So the gang of Johto trainers fled into Sinnoh where both Gold and Silver joined the ranks of Hydra to help them with the goal of taking the region, and hopefully...the world.
