CHARACTER RULES
one account per character!
•each new character that you make must have its own account. twins included.
liquid time!
•your characters may be in as many threads as you want them to be in. just be sure to keep track of when each thread happens!
play fair!
•no godmodding or metagaming. you will be asked to edit your post and warned on multiple offences.
quality over quantity
•posts on the site must have at least one-hundred and fifty words. always remember to give the person that you are writing with something to reply to!
time passes!
•at double time. one week ooc = 2 weeks ic
be prepared for trouble!
•when a character is in a thread being modded, the pokemon, trainer, or grunt that they come across will have completely randomized characteristics. Keep in mind that the capturing and training of pokemon by civilians is illegal.
POKEMON RULES
you start with one pokemon of your choosing
•This pokemon will be level ten. you choose the pokemon's nature, gender, and moveset.
•you may have up to six pokemon as a part of Hydra or Pheonix. The storage system is for civilians and Immortalis members only.
battling
•each battle that you win raises your pokemon three levels. each battle lost earns you one level. rare candies raise your pokemon's level by five.
•normally, members are allowed to battle and determine a winner between themselves. a judge may be requested though, if either or both participants request a formal judging.
•a winner is determined through the pokemon and type advantages / disadvantages in the battle, the quality of the writing, and whether or not proper damage was taken during each round.
when your battle is formally judged, a staffer may reward one or both of you for your efforts!
evolving
•pokemon evolve just like they do in the games. they evolve at the same levels that they would evolve if you were playing on your ds. some pokemon are naturally harder to evolve than others.
catching
•catching a pokemon requires a thread marked [mod], and then finding a pokemon within the thread. if you battle the pokemon and it faints, the catch rate is 60%. if you battle the pokemon and it trusts you enough to follow you, the catch rate is 100%.
legendaries
•legendary pokemon can and will be a part of the site, and owned by certain characters. the chance to come across a legendary without buying an item in the shop is 5%.
•when a legendary is found, it can not be caught with an old fashioned pokeball, unless you are a part of Immortalis and wish to attempt to weaken the legendary and capture it to be taken to base.
•a legendary may decide to follow and aide a specific trainer. if your character gains the trust of a legendary, but then goes inactive, the legendary will leave.
